Yeah... no. I'm just not going to let you put words in my mouth which are not there. I did not describe all the work that early childhood educators do. Nor should I have attempted to do so. Nor did I describe all the work that university professors do. That's soooo not the point. I made a salary comparison between two positions which require vastly different preparation/training and, for multiple reasons, one might expect differences in salary. SIMILAR TO MY POINT, DC Government pays its teachers who have more years of experience, AND MORE DEGREES, more money. In my comparison, I made it very clear that I was speaking of a first year teacher with no experience and a bachelors degree compared to a university professor with three degrees.

And pointing out that one professional engages in a task isn't to say that it is the only task in which they engage. I never said that.
